Understand the model.
Explain what it means.
Online IB Maths AI HL and SL tutoring with Hitarth Shah. Strengthen modelling, statistics and mathematical interpretation while learning to use your calculator as a tool for reasoning.

beyond one question.
In AI, obtaining an output is only part of the solution. Lessons connect a question to a model, a model to an appropriate method, and the result back to the original situation. Calculator work is paired with estimates, units and written interpretation so that technology supports understanding.
SL support builds confidence in selecting methods and communicating conclusions. HL support develops greater mathematical depth and flexibility. Bring your calculator model, level, examination year and topic list so practice can match the course you actually study.
A focused plan, not a generic checklist.
Number & algebra
Use sequences, percentages and numerical methods in context, keeping assumptions visible.
Functions & modelling
Choose and interpret models, compare predictions and recognise limits to their usefulness.
Geometry & trigonometry
Turn contextual information into diagrams, measurements and a defensible method.
Statistics & probability
Read data, work with probability models and explain statistical conclusions appropriately.
Calculus
Interpret change, optimisation and accumulation in mathematical and real-world settings.
HL depth
Develop more advanced methods and mathematical connections required for your HL course and exam year.
Topic depth and coverage depend on your level, syllabus and examination year. Your school’s current course requirements guide the learning plan.
A result needs a context
A model predicts a journey time of 42 minutes for a route within the observed data range. A complete response identifies the prediction, states minutes as the unit, and explains that unusual traffic could make the model less reliable. A numerical answer alone leaves that interpretation unfinished.
What does your statistical model actually tell you?
Interpret gradients, calculate residuals and recognise when a prediction goes beyond the evidence.

Will you help with calculator use?
Yes. Include your calculator model in your enquiry. Lessons connect calculator procedures to the mathematical reasoning and interpretation behind them.
Can I enquire before committing to lessons?
Yes. The enquiry starts a conversation about your goals, availability and fees. It does not book a lesson or commit you to payment.
